Coming off a successful 2015 season the Senior men's Keltics take on the best of the Atlantic in a newly formatted league. The 2015 season saw the Keltics earn an impressive 5 and 1 record, with key victories over the New Brunswick Spruce, Quebec and infamously, over the Newfoundland Rock for the first time in 16 years! The Rock still crept over the line, and won the Atlantic league by points difference after beating the Keltics in St Johns in an earlier game. Hosted by the Loyalist club in NB, this year sees a new tournament format. With the official inclusion of Quebec, teams have been ranked 1-4 and will each play two matches; a semi final taking place on Friday, and a bronze and a gold medal game taking place on Sunday. Jack Hanratty, head coach of the Senior men's Keltics team has commented on the newly formatted tournament, “although this is less provincial games for our senior men's team, it's the perfect shop window for selection for the CRC Atlantic team.”  This new tournament format also includes the addition of a U23 tournament. The participating teams include:Keltics U23, Newfound Rock U23, New Brunswick U23 and the Atlantic U19 team. Nova Scotia will have athletes competing not only for the Senior men's and U23 Keltics teams, but also for the Atlantic U19 team as they prepare for the the CRC U19 competition in July. The Nova Scotia U23 team is a new team that is headed up by former Keltics senior men's player Adam Hines, who is delighted to be involved in the provincial program in a new capacity. Hines said of the new position, “its great to be back involved and great to start a brand new program for the age group of U23s, which is a perfect transition from U18 Keltics to Senior Men's.”  Ten Rugby clubs from the Rugby Nova Scotia club league are represented proudly on the rosters.“Having a full league representation from the NS leagues is fantastic to see and is a real compliment to the clubs encouraging provincial representation” Hanratty went on to say.  Rosters in full: Keltics U23
