Off Season Training for Underage Athletes

Academy Groups

Halifax

  • Participation is determined by Athlete Applications which are submit bi-annually in September and January
  • Sessions run throughout the fall & winter and consist of:
    • 2 Strength and Conditioning Sessions (Canadian Sports Centre Atlantic) per week
    • 1 Skill Session per week
    • 1 Turf (contact skills) session per month
    • 1-2 Mental Performance Sessions
    • 2 Nutrition Sessions

Valley

  • Participation is determined by Athlete Applications which are submit bi-annually in September and January
  • Sessions run throughout the fall & winter and consist of:
    • 2 Strength and Conditioning Sessions (Acadia University) per week
    • 1 Skill Session per week

Ignite/ High Performance (Participation is by Invitation Only)

  • Sessions run throughout the fall & winter and consist of:
    • 3 Strength and Conditioning Sessions per week at Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic.
    • 1 Skills Sessions per week
    • Access to individual mental performance and nutrition sessions
