Return To Action

As restrictions are gradually lifted, documents prepared by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health will be the guiding force behind each phase of return to sport.

As we adapt to this new normal, precautions that will remain through every phase of recovery will be: Proper hand hygiene, surface cleaning and keeping a log of interactions to self-monitor and to facilitate contact tracing should a case be detected.

Rugby Nova Scotia (RNS) is acutely aware of the current public health circumstances in Nova Scotia, Canada and around the world. Like most organizations we are very concerned about the short, medium- and long-term consequences of the pandemic on our province, our community, our organization, and our sport.

Under these very uncertain circumstances, RNS is working to think ahead and plan for a number of different possible scenarios that may unfold over the coming months so that our organization is prepared to take action when appropriate in an effort to minimize the negative impacts of the pandemic on our members, our organization, our employees and our sport.

The below resources are offered in accord with Rugby Canada’s Return to Rugby Plan and the guidelines set out by the Provincial Government of Nova Scotia.
